Managing Depression: Raising Energy, Improving Cognition
Please register in advance. Access to the links for demand trainings can take several hours to receive after registration is complete.
About This Workshop
Depression typically contains elements of lethargy and ruminative cognitions that stem from different underlying causes: neurobiology alone, situational stressors, trauma or aversive childhood experiences. Most people seek treatment when they feel unable to meet life’s demands for energy at home or work. This session will focus on techniques that work well even in our telehealth world, planning immediate depression interventions that lift the energy or turn the cognitions toward more positive thoughts and actions. You will learn pragmatic methods that allow your clients to become more productive and create new, more positive cognitions, tapping the power of neural networks to break the hold of depressive cognitions.
*A CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE WILL BE ISSUED*
